About Us
We exist to make EU drone compliance fast and accessible in Ireland.
Our Story
We created Drone Licence Ireland because there was no affordable, accurate way to study for the drone exam. As drone pilots and experienced aviation lecturers ourselves, we built guides that simplify regulations and keep things simple, so you can focus on flying.
Today, we are serving individual recreational and commercial pilots who need fast, reliable certification materials, and also serving enterprise clients — logistics operators, construction firms, inspection companies, government departments and more.
We built Drone Licence Ireland because a clear, affordable, and legally accurate exam guide simply didn't exist. So we made one.
Every product is written by our qualified instructors and reviewed regularly for any regulation updates. We designed them to be understood by pilots of all experience levels — not just those with an aviation background.

Our mission is to help you to
become a drone pilot. Effectively.
Flying a drone should feel exciting, not confusing. At Drone Licence Ireland, we want everyone who's interested - from teenagers with their first quadcopter to professionals running big operations - to feel confident and safe in the air.
We're on a mission to turn complex regulations into clear, friendly guides so you can focus on what matters: capturing great footage, exploring new perspectives or getting the job done right.
We offer up-to-date resources, simple tips and a community of experienced instructors and pilots to support you every step of the way. When more people fly with knowledge and care, our skies are safer and our world is better.
